Alex is a digital strategist and producer with a passion for the space sector. An avid futurist and sci-fi consumer, Alex is enthralled with exploring our near-future realities. This concerns everything from the impacts to society, culture, technology, economy and quality of life that space exploration will have. He has been working in digital projects for 20 years and co-founded Wellington based software development company and creative agency Xequals in 2010 which focuses on open source approaches to solve large technology needs.

With one foot inside the technology sector and another in community organisation, Alex is also an adviser to the Martian Trust, an organiser many meetup events as well as TEDxWelllington, and a business mentor to a range of innovation and incubation organisations in New Zealand.
