Global Space Enablers Network (GSEN)

NEW Initiative - Catalyzing a coalition of space enablers around the world to bring equal opportunity into the industry.

Current Activities

  • SpaceBase together with NGO space enabler organizations worldwide are co-creating a decentralized Global Space Enablers Network (GSEN). By sharing best practices, resources, knowledge, etc., we hope to empower local movers directly to catalyze space ecosystems in developing and emerging countries.
  • A global survey on space enabler experiences, needs, and recommendations from organizations globally was presented at the International Space Congress (IAC) 2024 in Milan on 16 Oct. 2024. Read the paper  co-authored by organizations from SpaceTide, Singapore Space Industry and Technology Limited, Global Entrepreneurship Network – SPACE, Space Generation Advisory Council, Central American Space Congress, Spacehubs Africa, and the International Space University.  IAC Poster can be accessed here.
  • Survey information gathered globally will contribute to the crowd sourced Knowledge Base of best practices, lessons learned and local industry landscape from space enablers around the world.
  • A Founding Meeting attended by 16 organizations from across six continents in person and online  took place 15 Oct at IAC 2024 in Milan
