Space for Planet Earth Challenge

We are pleased to announce the Grand Prize winners of the Space for Planet Earth Challenge. Congratulations to Newlands College – Not Basic from Wellington, New Zealand for winning the High School level competition. Yadrava Na Vanua – Environment Watch, a group of PhD students and researchers from University of South Pacific and six other institutions from FIji, Australia and New Zealand won the University/Startup competition. In addition to the grand prize winners, Charlie Trumm from Cashmere High Space Club won a special award for his pitch presentation.

We thank all our sponsors for making this happen. We also thank the over 50 organizations and institutions that supported us in vairous ways to make this programme possible. Last but not least, we also thank our final judges for the hard task of determining our winners
